Project Overview

Denver’s Department of Transportation and Infrastructure (DOTI) has launched the West 38th Avenue Corridor Study to develop a plan to transform West 38th Avenue into a better and safer place for everyone. This will involve solving safety issues, planning for enhanced bus service, and “greening” the corridor. The study will conclude with a clear, community-driven vision for the entire corridor that guides future DOTI projects, as well as adjacent private development.

West 38th Avenue has been identified as a corridor in need of investment through various previous projects. The corridor study will analyze the feasibility and compatibility of previous recommendations and balance these with current community needs.

The study will also identify and design near-term recommendations for low-cost, quick-build treatments to address immediate safety concerns. DOTI will most likely implement these treatments in 2025.

If you travel along or across West 38th Avenue, please provide your input. Place pins on the map, and then take the brief survey below to share your experiences and vision for a safer, more connected West 38th Avenue.
