Hi Sonoma County!

Thanks for your interest the Sonoma County Active Transportation Plan. The Sonoma County Transportation Authority (SCTA), County of Sonoma, and cities in Sonoma County want to make walking, bicycling, and travel by mobility device safer and more appealing for both everyday transportation and recreation. We want active modes of travel to be options for people of all ages and abilities.

Public engagement is organized into three phases. Phase I: Fall 2023 focused on gathering input on active transportation topics as well as specific locations where people felt the need for improvements and/or expressed concerns about current conditions. Phase II: Spring 2024 focused on sharing draft projects and policy ideas to solicit input from community members. Phase III is taking place this Fall/Winter 2024 and gives community members the opportunity to review and give input on the full contents of the draft Countywide ATP and 6 local agency active transportation plans.

Check out the links below to review the draft plans and provide feedback for Cloverdale, Sebastopol, City of Sonoma, Healdsburg, Rohnert Park, Unincorporated County and the full Countywide plan!

We are accepting comments on the plans through the following dates:

  • City Draft ATPs – Available through November 30th
  • SCTA Countywide ATP and Technical Appendix – Available through December 6th
  • Unincorporated County ATP – Available through mid-February 2025

We are in Phase 3!

You can see feedback from phases 1 and 2 down below the draft plans.
