Hi Sonoma County!

Thanks for your interest the Sonoma County Active Transportation Plan. In the Fall of 2023, our team collected feedback from community members both through this website and at 14 in-person with events in Cloverdale, Healdsburg, Sebastopol, Cotati, Rohnert Park, unincorporated Santa Rosa, Glen Ellen, and Sonoma. We received approximately 1,200 comments on our interactive webmap with suggestions for walking, biking, and accessibility improvements and 500 survey responses. We really appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts!

The County wants to make walking, bicycling, and travel by mobility device safer and more appealing for both everyday transportation and recreation. We want active modes of travel to be options for people of all ages and abilities.

Sonoma County Transportation Authority (SCTA) and community organization partners (Latino Service Providers, Community Action Partnership Sonoma, Sonoma County Bicycle Coalition, and Burbank Housing) will be back out in the community this Spring to get feedback on some of the initial ideas. Join us in-person at one of the events listed in the "Key Dates" sidebar or share your ideas using the map and survey below!
