Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) is a discretionary grant program through the US Department of Transportation (USDOT). The program aims to provide a collaborative and data-driven strategy to reduce transportation-related fatalities and serious injuries.

The Safe Streets McKinney project is a planning grant that was funded through this SS4A program. Components of the project include: leadership commitment and goal setting, safety analysis, engagement and collaboration, policy and process changes, strategy and project selections, and reporting progress transparently.
