Project Description
The Ventura County Transportation Commission is leading an assessment of Ventura County’s bus stops. This assessment will inventory the amenities provided at each of Ventura County’s almost 1,200 bus stops, including shelters, benches, and route maps. The study will also analyze barriers to walking and rolling to bus stop, like narrow sidewalks or missing crosswalks, and it will develop a prioritization system to help direct funding towards future stop improvements, like adding new shelters and benches.
Rider and Public Feedback
As a part of this project, VCTC is hosting public workshops and conducting a rider survey to hear feedback on bus stops from residents, workers, and students across Ventura County. We want to hear your feedback on existing bus stop amenities for all of Ventura County’s nine transit systems.
