Help Shape Jurupa Valley's Truck Routes

Thanks for being part of this project. Your feedback is helping the City decide where trucks should and should not travel.

The maps below show how the City’s truck routes have changed, and where they are headed next:

  • Baseline (Before the Project): Trucks were allowed on nearly every major street.
  • Phase 1 (Interim Truck Route Network): A first round of changes was adopted in December 2025 to meet a new state law (AB 98).
  • Phase 2 (Iterated Truck Route Network): A proposed updated map shaped by what you and your neighbors told us. This is the version going to the Planning Commission and City Council this Fall.

Use the interactive map at the bottom of the page to drop a pin and tell us what you think about a specific street or intersection.

Important Dates

  • Community Open House: May 20, 2026, 6:00–8:00 p.m.

Baseline (Before the Project)

This is the truck network Jurupa Valley started with: a general plan map under which trucks were effectively allowed on nearly every arterial in the city, with limited weight-restricted segments carried over from a 2009 county resolution and a 2019 Attorney General settlement.

Baseline (Before the Project)

Phase 1: Interim Truck Route Network (Adopted December 2025)

Adopted in December 2025 to meet the January 1, 2026 AB 98 deadline, the interim network was a substantial reduction from the baseline, designating specific corridors where trucks are allowed and adding a new weight restriction on Pedley to protect adjacent neighborhoods and schools.
