October 4th Open House Graphic (10/4 2pm-7pm at Woodin Creek Village))

The City of Woodinville is in the process of updating its Transportation Plan. This plan serves as the guiding document for transportation projects over the next 20 years. Throughout the summer, Woodinville is looking to gather feedback on the current progress of the new Transportation Plan. It is critical to the planning process to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the City’s transportation system and identify future projects that respond to growth and keep Woodinville moving. We would love to hear your thoughts using the interactive tools below!

Some of the projects on the draft project list include the following features:

  • Road Diet: A reduction in the number of vehicle lanes on a street to improve safety and provide space for all road users (pedestrians, bicyclists, etc.).
  • Complete Street: A street that is designed to provide safety and allow everyone to travel along the street (vehicles, pedestrians, bicyclists, etc.).
  • HAWK Signal: High-intensity Activated crossWalKs improve safety for pedestrians crossing between intersections. These devices prompt vehicles to stop when a pushbutton is pressed by a pedestrian.
  • Climbing Bike Lane: A bike lane located on an incline and provides extra space to allow vehicles to safely pass those on bicycles traveling at slower than typical speeds.
  • Pocket Park: Small open space that is closed to vehicles and open to the public.
