The City of Laguna Beach is leading the development of a Citywide Safety Action Plan (CSAP) to improve roadway safety.

What is a Citywide Safety Action Plan?

A Citywide Safety Action Plan (CSAP) is a comprehensive plan developed to identify, analyze, and prioritize safety related improvements within the City. The plan will apply a systemic safety approach to identify transportation features correlated with collisions, engage stakeholders to understand the needs of the community, and create strategies to implement safe designs that are effective and equitable to all road users. The CSAP will serve as a roadmap to fulfill the City's commitment to minimizing roadway fatalities and severe injuries through projects or policies, and aid in the process to secure competitive Federal and State funding for safety related improvements.
