Project Overview

The City of St. Petersburg is evaluating 31st Street from 1st Avenue N to Pinellas Point Drive to identify transportation system improvements that enhance transportation choice, safety, and mobility for all road users, particularly in areas that can boost economic activity.

Using the City’s Complete Streets Policy and Implementation Plan as a guide, the 31st Street Complete Street study aims to develop concepts for continuous bicycle and pedestrian facilities along and across the corridor and identify potential intersection changes that improve safety while balancing delay for all road system users. A primary goal is to enhance safety and operations for non-motorized transportation while ensuring reliable travel times.

More information about the project can be found on the City's website.

How Can You Get Involved?

Your voice matters! Participate in community workshops, city council meetings, and surveys to provide insights that shape the design of your streets. Stay informed about project developments and lend your support to initiatives that make your neighborhood safer and more accessible for everyone.

Community Survey

To ensure that the design aligns with the community’s needs and values, we are actively seeking public input.

We encourage residents, local business owners, organizations, and other stakeholders to participate in our survey. Your feedback is crucial in shaping the appearance, safety features, and overall functionality of 31st Street. This survey is designed to gather valuable insights from the community to inform the development of draft concepts for the roadway. Results of the survey will be shared at an upcoming community workshop.
